When did you become the least important person in your life?

When did you become the least important person in your life? Think about it, how often do you put your own needs, feelings and desires behind those of others? We do things we don’t want to do at work, at home and for our friends because we don’t want to let people down, yet every day we are letting ourselves down and disappointing our own hopes. It impacts our moods, emotions, behaviours and our wellbeing. Taken to the extreme, we’re ‘playing the martyr’, prepared to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of what everyone else wants and needs. SO STOP IT!
