SHOWNOTES

Sorbolene cream has been touted as beneficial for the skin. But is it truly the best choice?

Sorbolene cream, known for its moisturizing qualities, prominently features sorbolene along with other components like glycerin and paraffin.

In contrast, natural body creams are formulated with ingredients such as shea butter, coconut oil, and essential oils, steering clear of synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, and harsh preservatives.

Given that your skin is your body’s largest detoxifying organ, it begs the question: why obstruct it with petroleum-based products?

Natural body creams are crafted using plant-based and organic ingredients, catering to those with sensitive skin or those who wish to steer clear of potentially harmful chemicals.

Conversely, sorbolene creams might incorporate synthetic or petroleum-derived ingredients, which some people may choose to avoid.

Natural body creams are renowned for providing profound hydration and nourishment to the skin, courtesy of their natural oils and butters. They might also deliver added benefits like anti-inflammatory or antioxidant effects, depending on the specific ingredients used.

While sorbolene cream can effectively lock in moisture by creating a barrier, it doesn’t truly hydrate the skin.

Being devoid of synthetic additives and fragrances, natural body creams are less likely to provoke allergic reactions or skin irritation, making them a safer choice for those with sensitive skin.

Moreover, sorbolene creams that contain added fragrances or preservatives can potentially trigger allergic reactions in some individuals.

It’s worth noting that many natural body creams are cruelty-free and not tested on animals, aligning with the ethical standards of numerous consumers.

So, what’s the preferable option?

Opt for natural.
