SHOWNOTES
Melatonin helps us fall asleep quickly and wake up less frequently so we can have a restful night’s sleep.
Sunshine = Melatonin Regular, controlled sun exposure is one of the best things you can do for your overall health, because it stimulates the production of melatonin in your mitochondria.
Melatonin is not just about sleep. Also 95% of our melatonin is used in our cells to fight inflammation & oxidative stress!
Get some sun on your face
Getting some sunshine each day helps regulates your internal clock and aids the production of melatonin.
Sunlight makes serotonin which precursor of melatonin.
Serotonin then converts into melatonin when it becomes dark.
Increase relaxation and reduce stress
We’ve all had the experience of tossing and turning and not being able to get to sleep.
That’s because our stress hormone (cortisol) also plays a role in our internal clock.
Tap into some adaptogen herbs to help the cortisol imbalance
