But why can’t I just eat a whole-foods diet Jen?

***In the perfect world we can, the reality is that we have simply have depleted our soil to the point where they just have what we need anymore AND daily life stresses impact our body chemistry including our digestive system. This can even stop us from even taking up the nutrients in the foods we eat.

But isn’t organic healthier Jen?

***(The definition of Organic is – (of food or farming methods) produced or involving production without the use of chemical fertilisers, pesticides, or other artificial chemicals.

***Sadly it does not mean more nutritions. I’m all for less and preferably no chemicals, and I want nutritionally it to feed me too.

Ok, so tell me about this stress thing Jen.

***Harvard School Of Public Health reported… “With acute stress, the event is brief and hormone levels will gradually return to normal. Acute episodic and chronic stress repeatedly trigger the fight-or-flight response causing a persistent elevation of hormones, leading to a risk of health problems”:

Digestive issues (heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, constipation)

Weight gain

Elevated blood pressure

Chest pain, heart disease

Immune system problems

Skin conditions

Muscular pain (headaches, back pain, neck pain)

Sleep disruption, insomnia

Infertility

Anxiety, depression

Whats the bottom line Jen?

***Eat close to nature the majority of the time. Yes whole-foods and organic.

*** Supplement as needed.

*** Manage your stress with my fav herbs called adaptogens.
