Do you dread going to work? Constant negativity, blaming, justifying, complaining, conflict and gossiping can suck the life out of you and have real impacts on your health. Perhaps this is your workplace?

The most important thing to remember is that you have a choice. A choice to stay or a choice to leave. If you choose to stay, we need to help your body adapt to your environment because staying and not coping is taxing your body. 

So what is the solution?

  • Voice your concerns to management 
  • Have clearing conversations where needed
  • Stay focused and concentrate on your area 
  • Don’t buy into others’ games
  • Remove yourself 
  • Don’t feed the monster
  • Find allies. People that don’t gossip but support each other
  • IF THEY GOSSIP TO YOU, THEY GOSSIP ABOUT YOU – play the higher game
  • Take leave and recharge to go back ready to adapt

Manage your stress levels

When you are in a stressful situation, you must manage your stress levels.
