SHOWNOTES
2020 has finally come to a close. Now you have a choice, are you going to live 2021 out of 2020 or the present? To ensure it is the latter, here are some tips to help you close out the year strong so that you can start the New Year off right.
Closeout 2020 first
Brain dump any remaining crap thoughts about 2020, then bless and release it all in a Zen funeral. You need to get this out. Otherwise, you will bring it into the New Year with you.
Let yourself dream
Allow yourself to dream with no boundaries of where life is right now, both physically and financially. Too many people dream within their current circumstances or limitations. Rid yourself of the restrictions and dream big.
Do up your vision board
Now that you have dreamed big, you need to create a visual representation of it. You can do this as a physical vision board, or you can do it electronically. I have mine on my phone Home and Lock screen to keep it front of mind.
Ask for help from a mentor
Get that reality check on what you want to achieve in 2021, but go to them with your plan, ask for feedback and be prepared to action it!
Sift, sort and release the baggage
Force you to make decisions on what to keep and what to let go. This can be old goals, projects, ideas, thought processes and beliefs. Letting go of what needs to go will give you more space to think, plan and work. It will also give you inner satisfaction that will motivate you to take on more important tasks.
Move your body
Be gentle with yourself
Yes, I said that. 2020 may not have gone to plan; it sure didn’t for me. But there are still a lot of gifts in it. Be grateful for the little wins and build on that for next year. That turns on your happy hormones (see Episode 30 for more on this).
Adapt
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, use adaptogen herbs to help you adapt your mind and body to what has been and is coming up.
Healthy Life Hacks
So, the healthy life hacks I want to leave you with today are:
- Take action on YOUR top 3 priorities
