You have the power to break negative self-talk habits – and they are habits. I remember when I first learned about the power of words and how they manifest in our lives. 

At the time, I was the queen of “no worries” and “not a problem” but I realised that there are double negatives in both of these sayings – so I decided to change it to “it’s easy”. I struggled with the change for a while, but now it is second nature.

Besides language, the other challenge can be living your future out of your past instead of living your future out of your present. I saw this in clinic all of the time where we would treat issues and despite us fixing the issue, the body language and thought processes were expecting it to go wrong – so it would. Your old stories and mental processes will make it show up.

Those people who say “I only catch two colds a year” what do they do? They catch two colds per year! They are living into it! We are magnificent manifesters and nothing from our past has to influence our future – unless you let it.

You will meet people on your journey who don’t like or believe in the positive – don’t let it hold you back. I choose to live in the positive, easy, cool, fun world I choose for me. People say, “Jen you’re so lucky!” Well I’m only lucky because I’m consciously manifesting it the way I want it to be. It’s not ‘woo woo’ stuff, it’s hard-assed science.

My mentor David TS Wood, who I met over a decade ago put it best when he said, “Don’t be a crap magnet!” It cemented it. If we have crap thoughts, we’ll get more crap. You know what it’s like. Your mind goes down the rabbit hole and you are “poor me” “woe is me” “this is crap”. 

But there is still a gift in everything. It takes conscious effort to break that pattern. Don’t be a crap magnet, be a magnificent manifester. Everything is possible in life, if you give the vibes and actions to make it happen. It starts with your mindset – you’re in control. Nothing from your past can influence your future unless you let it.

Healthy Life Hacks

So, the healthy life hacks I want to leave you with today are: 

  1. Stop attracting what you don’t want. Let the past be the past and consciously manifest what you want.
  2. Notice where you are being a crap magnet.
  3. Write down your common crap thoughts or sayings and alongside it write a replacement that is positive. Start there and build on it.
