Have you ever wondered why you can only give blood every 2-3 months? It’s because you need to wait until you complete a full blood cycle. In this episode, Jen talks about how your blood and body regenerates and why you need to think in seasons if you want to make long-term changes to your health and habits.

SHOWNOTES

Frustrated that I couldn’t help more people, 20 years ago, I decided to sell up my successful naturopathic clinic and aromatherapy shops and become a professional speaker who travels the world. I was scared and had no idea how it would evolve.

But I knew I wanted to do it. So, I said yes and lived into it. That is the power of saying YES! Today we’re going to delve into this and how I make my life of travelling happen.

When it comes to achieving goals and what you really want in life, I’ve found that you need to worry less about the how and take more action.

Mike Dooley (The Secret) speaks about the need to detach from the “Cursed How’s” to FOCUS on the end results instead. So many people make the mistake of waiting until they have it all figured out – but you can’t. Say yes now, figure out the how later.

My mate Morgan has a saying that I’ve taken on board:

The less you do, the more you think,

The more you think, the more you doubt,

The more you doubt, the less you do

It also works when you flip it:

The more you do, the less you think,

The less you think, the less you doubt

The less you doubt, the more you do

My mentor David TS Wood taught me the power of living a yes life ten years ago, and I continue to do it today.

I recent example of this has to do with my love of auroras. I love the Southern and Northern lights and try to time trips to see them. I recently saw that you could get a chartered flight from Sydney to Antarctica and it will time right with auroras – I don’t know the how – but I know that I want to do it – I said YES! I’ll figure out the how later.

Healthy Life Hacks

So, the healthy life hacks I want to leave you with today are:

  1. Say yes without thinking I can’t do that to one thing this week
  2. Each time you want to hold back, focus forward on the end result you are after
