The closest feeling we can experience to love is fascination. When you are fascinated with someone, you are present, engaged, listening and connected. The only challenge is, most of us try to be fascinating, the object of attention, instead of being fascinated, giving someone else our attention. In this episode, Jen discusses the importance of being fascinated to give others the attention and connection they need and deserve.

When you are fascinated, you’re in the moment

Fascination is a neurological state of intense focus, one that creates an irresistible feeling of engagement. 

You know that feeling when you can tell someone is really listening to you 

So what’s the difference to being Fascinating

Fascinating is to attract and hold the attention of; arouse the interest or curiosity of; 

It’s Regularly used sarcastically to point out how irrelevant someone’s opinion was to the conversation at hand. 


Can be accompanied by an eyebrow arch and a chin stroke.
