Why can’t I just eat clean and healthy and be healthy?

We are not one Body system

We are a body of Body systems and they all work together

We have 11 body systems

4 for detoxing – lungs, liver, kidney and colon

1 endocrine body system but it has 8 major endocrine glands – same same but different

Talked  in a few previous episodes about hormones and stress and how it throws out body systems like digestive system

Western Med tries to isolate a health concern to just one body system

ND and TCM seeing the body as a whole and interconnected

We look behind the symptom to see the influence of other body systems both physically and emotionally

So how do you do that at home being not trained?

Start with not trying to take the short easy route. 

Sleep – don’t just take something like magnesium or melatonin and not look at nutrition or stress that could be feeding the imbalance

Moods – don’t just take Antidepressant and eat crappy food or be a stress head. 

Energy – don’t be living in sugar and caffeine when you are not sleeping properly at night. 

Ask yourself what else could be going on?

1.      Always see your body for what it is. Interconnected

2.      Don’t take short cuts

3.      Ask yourself what is stressing me out lately physically or emotionally and address that START THERE
